🏆 National Award Winner🏆

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we brought home another award for our hotdogs from the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) Convention, which was held this year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This annual convention features the prestigious American Cured Meat Championships, where meat products from across the country are judged by industry experts.

This is the 14th national award our hotdogs have received since we began competing at the American Cured Meat Championships in 2016. The award is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship we put into making our hotdogs as well as all of our products.

It's an honor to be recognized on the national stage, and we are incredibly grateful to our loyal customers for your continued support.

We may be back at the shop, but we recently had the opportunity to spend a few days in California! Mark was invited to give a seminar in Tulare, CA on making hot dogs and boneless hams as part of a new pilot program with the American Association of Meat Processors. We were surprised by just how much agriculture California has and made time to do a little exploring while we were there. What a beautiful state!

Our very own Country Meat Shop proprietor Mark Reynolds recently returned from a fun & interesting trip exploring the great state of Pennsylvania. Mark was honored to have been asked to judge hams & hotdogs in State College, PA at the Pennsylvania Association of Meat Processors annual convention.

Mark was also asked to present a seminar on how to make premium, traditional, boneless hams. Mark (& Lara) had an amazing time attending the convention, exploring the state, and hitting the amazing antique stores along the way.

A big thank you to our friends Gary Bardine, Mike Holland, & Mark Kowalonek for the hospitality and tours of your award winning plants! 🌭🥓
