Country Meat Shop State, national, and international award winning meat shop located in Moberly, Missouri Country Meat Shop is owned and operated by Mark Reynolds.

Along side Mark is full-time meat cutter Allen Carter. Allen has worked for Mark for 15+ years. All specialty and smoked products are made in-house. We only cut USDA choice grade (or higher) steaks. We grind burger daily from whole roasts. We use only the premium parts of the chuck for burger. Our goal is to provide our customers with the freshest meat possible at the best price. Mark is a 4th gen

eration meat processor and has over 30 years of experience in the meat industry. Mark's great-great grandfather started Moberly Packing Company in 1934 which produced Little Dixie hams, bacon, & other smoked meats. Moberly Packing Company suffered a devastating fire in 1989 and was not rebuilt. Mark continued his meat career with Oscar Mayer for six years. In 1995 Mark and his brother Dan decided to revive the Little Dixie brand and worked to develop new products and marketing for multiple brands distributed throughout the Midwest. In 2011, Mark decided to open a meat shop in Moberly. All Little Dixie products are now sold as Dixie Smokehouse and are sold exclusively at Country Meat Shop. Since opening in 2011, we have earned over 75 awards for our specialty meat products. Located at 1515 W Outer Road Hwy 63 in Moberly - Look for the red building! TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Pick up your deer ASAP!

Any deer not picked up by May 1st are considered abandoned, and we are required to report it to the MO Department of Conservation. Rule 3 SR 10-4.140 Possession, Storage and Processing states that the owner of abandoned venison is in violation of the Wildlife Code of Missouri and subject to prosecution.

To avoid fines or losing your hunting license, please pick up your deer during our normal business hours before May 1st, 2026! We're open Tuesday - Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am-1pm.
