Hey friends!! Would anyone be interested in some garden space here? With my health struggles it's just not possible for me to plant and maintain as much space as we have here for a garden, so we would love to see it put to good use!! Please contact me if you would like to have a garden patch here, or would just like to come putz in the garden and share the harvest with us.

It would be great to have a profitable farmsome day, but our biggest desire is to live in community and be able to share the beauty and delight we have here!

What are you hoping to be able to find from your local farmer this year? I know what we like to grow and eat, but love to hear what everyone is looking for, and if there is anything we could work to start selling. ❤️❤️

It's a beautiful day for butchering chickens 🥶 on the upside, it's more sanitary to butcher when it's cold, so I'm happy for that! Our fingers are just a little more clumsy than usual. Lots of good lessons in anatomy, observation, how much work goes into making healthy food, and preservence. Our chickens are raised very happy, and are culled quickly and as kindly as we can, but I am pretty glad that no packages were scheduled to be delivered today, though, with all the gore in the driveway 🔪

Spring is coming!

What are your favorite things to buy from farmers, farmers markets, or what would you most like to be able to get that you don't find often?

Some new things are are hoping to try growing this year are microgreens and mushrooms! 🍄 We are also planning to do pastured chicken and pork, which will be available early summer!

We are working on plans to set up a little farm stand and have some handmade things available as well, such as lotion bars, lip balm, and maybe even freshly roasted coffee. ☕
