The past few weekends have been great for frost seeding, but there is still plenty of time to freshen up you clover plots! Always take time to see what your buying, just because it's got a nice flashy bag doesn't mean it's a good seed blend. Many bigger companies use cheap filler seeds that are mostly annual clovers or cheap clovers deer just don't eat. No flashy bags here! We spend money on great quality seeds that deer eat. We use 5 different varieties of clover along with some chicory and some alfalfa! Stay tuned for another trick to try with frost seeding. This is a great time of year to help with your fall success!

Here is how one of the organic Rippin Radishes plot turned out...not too bad, little milkweed never hurt anything! I did try soybeans here earlier but the weeds did get away from me...good learning lessons though, just need to cultivate earlier, but the back up plan worked! 👍

Well we were fortunate enough to have time this morning to get our RUTTING OATS in the ground before this little rain. Broadcasted 145 of them through our various soybean plots on 3 different places we hunt, I like to plant them in just a food plot alone. I plant them from now till labor day, so you have plenty time to get you plot sprayed and get this awesome mix in the ground. They hit it from September till next spring! Check out our locations to buy...but you better call first as they sell out fast!

Plowed and then disced up this plot "organic style" no round up. I planted BIG GREENS SWEET TREATS and will post its progress. Got done just before this wonderful rain!
