We have been very optimistic about Suzy’s surgical recovery this summer. To catch everyone up to speed, our owner, Suzy, has several autoimmune diseases- including rheumatoid arthritis.

Her joints give out very easily, and as a result, she has faced many surgeries. Her back especially, has given her the most trouble over the last ten years. After a surgery in March of 2025, she became septic and we almost lost her multiple times. She was in and out of the hospital for almost a year.

She had another surgery in May 2026, which has proven to be very successful.

An unrelated and ongoing illness has kept her hospitalized for the last two weeks, and we are still without answers. Suzy is doing okay- but we are asking for continued prayers as further testing is conducted, and we get her home and back to feeling like herself again!

Please also continue to pray for Mike as he continues to manage the farm, take care of Suzy down in the hospital and prepare for the busy fall harvest season.

Our GFFM community takes prayer pretty seriously, so we know she has a great army beside her! Thank you again for your constant concern and prayers!
