We are HIRING for a
Seasonal Produce Sales Associate

Daniels Produce is looking for a few dependable, outgoing people to join our retail sales team for the final 6-8 weeks of our produce season. 🎃

This is a great short-term job for someone who enjoys working independently, interacting with customers, and doesn't mind a long, active day. We are extremely flexible with scheduling-you can work as little as 1 day per week or up to 5 days per week.

What does the job look like?

You'll report to our farm near Columbus, Nebraska, pick up a U-Haul-style box truck that has been loaded with fresh produce, and drive to one of our retail locations-typically Grand Island, Lincoln, or another community about an hour from Columbus.

Once you're trained and comfortable, you'll operate the location independently. You'll set up an attractive produce display, sell fresh fruits and vegetables and assist customers throughout the day, keep the stand stocked and organized, then tear everything down at the end of the day and drive the truck back to the farm.

The details:

-Approximately 12-hour shifts
-Seasonal position lasting about 6 weeks
-Work 1–5 days per week-you choose what works with your schedule
-Training provided before you're expected to operate a location independently
-Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving a box truck
-Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, loading/unloading and setting up produce throughout the day
-Must be dependable and able to work independently without direct supervision
-We're looking for someone who is friendly, responsible and genuinely good with customers
-This isn't a job where you'll spend the day sitting behind a counter. It's physical, it's a long day, and you're trusted to run the location on your own.

But if you're dependable, like people, and want to make some extra money over the next six weeks without committing to a rigid weekly schedule, it can be a great fit.
