Hi-Lite has been a Monroe icon for over 50 years and now under new ownership will continue this legacy for another 50 years. While Hi-Lite has seen better days, it is going through a huge remodel. Fresh, locally grown produce is being brought in everyday, along with freshly cut meats. Of course, Hi-Lite's famous original fried chicken will always be here.

"It's just a bunch of hocus pocus" 🧙‍♀️🎃 Our bakery crew is cooking up some spooky magic this Halloween: bloody cakes, ghost cookies, pumpkin displays, and caramel apples galore.

Come see what they whipped up and grab everything you need to celebrate Halloween!

Pasta Tip! Before draining your pasta, save a cup of the cooking water! The starchy water can help thicken and smooth out your sauce while helping it cling to the noodles. It’s a simple trick that can make homemade pasta dishes even better.

Our deli case is looking (and tasting) extra good right now. We're always stocked up on Boar's Head Genoa salami, roasted turkey, and a cheese lineup that goes Havarti, Gouda, jalapeño pepper jack, Vermont cheddar...we could keep going.

Swing by the deli counter this weekend 🥪

Looking for a simple weeknight meal? Try creamy garlic parmesan pasta by cooking your favorite pasta, then tossing with butter, minced garlic, a splash of pasta water, grated Parmesan and black pepper. Add cooked chicken or steamed broccoli to make it a heartier meal.

Deli case alert 🍝 Try our spaghetti salad, one of our top sellers all year round! Italian dressing, salad seasoning, green peppers, tomato, and perfectly cooled spaghetti noodles come together for this one.

Grab it (or our pasta salad) next time you're in!

How many shapes of pasta can you name?

There are hundreds of different pasta shapes, and many are designed to pair well with different sauces! Ridged pasta helps hold onto thicker sauces, while long noodles are delicious with lighter, oil-based sauces. Maybe this week it's time to try a new shape!
