Sweet corn season is HERE, and so is the Fourth of July — celebrate both at your Monroeville Lions Farmers' Market this Saturday!

Start your Independence Day weekend the right way with a morning trip to the market on Saturday, July 4, from 9am to 12noon. Harvest Valley Farms, McElhinny Farm, McKinney Family Farm, Logan Family Farm, and Paul's Orchard are all bringing the best of summer straight from their fields to your table. Fresh-picked sweet corn is stealing the show this week — grab a few dozen ears for your cookout and everything else you need for a holiday spread packed with local flavor. There's no better way to kick off the Fourth than surrounded by your community, great food, and the kind of freshness you just can't find at a grocery store.

The sun is out, the farmers are ready, and the Monroeville Lions Farmers' Market is back this Saturday — come out and make the most of it!

Last week you showed up through the rain, and we love you for it. This week the weather is on our side, so there's no better morning to get outside and stock up on the good stuff. This Saturday we're shining a spotlight on our Anchor Growers — the dedicated local farms that are the backbone of our market week after week. Chaganra Farm LLC, Logan Family Farm, McKinney Family Farm, McElhinny Farm, Paul's Orchard, Harvest Valley Farms, Bloomfield Farm Flowers, Pleasant Lane Farms, Lemon Bros Maple Syrup, Mitchell's Mushroom Farm, and John's Other Honey are all producers rooted right here in our region, bringing you honest, locally grown products you can feel great about. Fresh produce, local honey, orchard fruit, and more — all grown close to home by farmers who pour their hearts into every harvest. Come browse, meet the growers, and grab something real this Saturday morning. Doors open at 9am and we wrap up at noon.

Mother's Day gifts, fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, and more — rain or shine! The Monroeville Lions Farmers' Market opens this Saturday, May 9.
There's something about opening week at the market — crisp spring lettuce fresh from the farm, warm baked goods, maple syrup, honey, and hot coffee in hand — that reminds you why people look forward to this all winter long. Vendors have been preparing for months, and opening day always brings a special energy as everyone returns for another season together.
Stop by between 9am and noon, take a walk through the tents, and enjoy a relaxed Saturday morning with local farms, bakers, makers, and small businesses from throughout the region.
And don't forget — each week we'll post a quick market video before opening so you can check the weather, see what's fresh, and preview what vendors are bringing that morning.
Throw on a sweatshirt if the weather's cool, maybe bring an umbrella just in case, and come enjoy the start of market season with us.

We are back and kicking off the very first Monroeville Lions Farmers Market of 2026 this coming Saturday, May 9, from 9am to noon. With Mother's Day falling the very next day, Saturday morning is the perfect time to treat the special women in your life (or yourself — no judgment) to something truly wonderful.
Stop by for something fresh from McKinney Family Farm, a little something sweet from Dazzle & Pop Treats, and maybe a bottle from Crooked Creek Distillery to round out that Mother's Day gift. Church Folk BBQ will be bringing the flavor too, so come hungry. We could not think of a better way to celebrate than surrounded by fresh local goods and good people! Whether you are picking up something for Sunday or just soaking in the Saturday morning tradition we all love, we would love to see you out there. May is here, and the Monroeville Lions Farmers Market is ready to make your weekend worth getting up early for!
Join us this Saturday from 9am to noon for a morning full of fresh finds, friendly faces, and everything that makes a Monroeville Saturday feel like home. Pick up handcrafted preserves from Ruk's Preserving, grab a pie (or two) from Pittsburgh Pie Guy, and stock up on farm-fresh goods from McElhinny Farm.
