Talk about showing up, and showing out!
For the last two years Vulcan Materials has came out on there holiday and has done volunteer projects for our community!
Today, they chose to volunteer at the community garden! Getting 13 raised beds assembled and installed and laying out the ground level garden! Even though it was a cold and muddy day, it was a good day! With good spirits and good laughter these boys got a lot done!

Harold Boswell, donates turnips to Monterey Food Bank!

Monterey Community Garden Support!
Here on the Mountain "Where Hilltops Kiss The Sky"
The Monterey Farmers Co-op saw the need for The Monterey Community Garden and made a $1,000 Donation!!!! Kaydee Johnston also donated a water hose and frost free spicket!!!!
Thank you so much Kaydee Johnston and Monterey Farmers Co-op for supporting this community and all the people within it!
Yes, I almost cried when I saw the check!!!!!
There are so many people in this community that we hope will benefit from this upcoming project!

Good morning, everyone!
The Monterey Farmers Market would like to say thank you for supporting your local farmers and ensuring that our local agriculture groups stay strong and thriving!
As you know the Town of Monterey, TN board of Alderman and Mayor, approved and passed, a community garden for our area!
This garden will be located behind the Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center Building in the old ball field!
This project requires your support, all donations can be made at The Monterey Depot Museum!
We hope this community garden will help aid our community in many different ways! From feeling bellies, advancing education, and so much more!

We would like to thank the Monterey High School FFA, Putnam County Master Gardeners, Monterey Garden Club, and other private parties for already showing support!
