Jim is no stranger to meat processing. His father and mother, Milo and Delores Krenik, moved their family to a farm near General Shield's Lake in 1960. There, they raised their own beef, pigs, chickens and other livestock. Milo set up a small butcher shop and processed meat for his family, friends and neighbors, establishing "Milo Krenik Farm". Jim took over the family business in 1987. By 1994 he established "Krenik's Meat Processing" and since has been operational full time. At that time, Jim expanded his business to include custom beef, pork and sheep butchering, venison and wild game processing and has a great selection of retail meats including sausages, steaks, hamburger, hams and jerky. Krenik's has ethnic Czech foods like jitrnice and head cheese, when in season, Bullheads and Carp, smoked and fryers. Variety

Jim specializes in custom cuts of beef and pork for split sides, 1/4, 1/2 and whole beef processing. He will custom cut your beef to your specifications. Or, you can let Jim use a common cutting order that includes sirloin tips, chuck steaks, roasts, porterhouse steaks, sirloin steaks, and more. Award Winner
Krenik's has won awards for his homemade products. Double Maple Smoked Hams, Thick Jerky, Brats, Sausages, Hot Beef, Roast Pulled Pork and Pepper Bacon are favorites. Krenik's received awards for for his "Meaty Meals in Minutes" Greek Marinated Beef and marinated prime rib, vacuum packed and ready to cook for ease and freshness. Krenik's makes traditional Czech ethnic foods, such as Jitrnice (Bohemian Sausage), Sekanina (Hash, Chopped Meat), Tlacenka (Head Cheese), Cooked, Home Made Potato Dumplings, and Roasted Pulled Pork Sauerkraut and Gravy.
