Semper Fi Acres

Semper Fi Acres We are currently on a small hiatus as we move from Indiana to south central KY. Stay tuned for our adventures and starting our new homestead from scratch!

Semper Fi Acres is a 35 acre farm located in West Harrison, Indiana. We strive to provide the highest quality, sustainably grown food to our local area and people. We grow a wide variety of heirloom vegetables practicing biodynamic growing methods. We never use synthetic fertilizers and try to be as faithful to our land as possible. We also raise heritage breeds of Dutch Belted Cattle, Red Wattle

Hogs, Satin Rabbits, and Dorkingand Langshan Chickens. All of these animals are bred and raised on our farm. They all lead happy, healthy lives grazing our acres while providing us with the best meat and dairy you can find. If you have any questions, want to visit the farm, or purchase anything from us, please feel free to contact us at anytime and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

So this is happening right now. 20 acres of our land on fire. Please keep the people working the fire in your thoughts. Please, please, please, listen to fire bans. This was completely preventable. I am out of town working currently and cannot get back till Sunday morning to assess the damage. That is IF they have it out by then.

We hope you enjoyed the amazing weather as much as we did! We have a lot of things in store for 2017, like living in two campers while we build our house. Installing septic, solar, hopefully a garden, and so much more is awaiting us next year. Stay tuned.

As life does, we have been thrown a curve ball but an awesome one. We found a small 5 acre property to rent just minutes from the 40 acres we bought. So, we are moving! Lake Cumberland get ready as you have never seen the likes of me!
