We're not pushing summer out the door, but September markets are the best.
They offer a unique overlap of lingering summer crops and the very first fall harvest. We can still find those late season tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers and zucchini while enjoying crisp apples, pears, juicy grapes and other cool weather crops. As the chilly mornings replace summer's heat, bundling up to support local is suddenly back in season!
