Now that the walls were poured and dried, it’s time for the basement floor to be prepped for cement to come. It was interesting on how they had to level the gravel, build a channel down the middle and then covered it all with plastic. Our favorite part was watching one of the workers take his break on the side of the wall mid video.

It’s so amazing to see how buildings are built and pouring the basement walls was no disappointment!
We were particularly impressed by the man who scaled the top of the wall, the whole time guiding the cement into the forms.

The arrival of the basement cement wall forms was filled with awe and excitement. We loved to watch the boom truck raise these and put them into the basement.
