The Friendly Market is a family owned, community grown business located in the unique, coastal town of Morehead City, North Carolina. Owners Matt and Mindy Fitzpatrick have made their customers and community the focus of their ever changing small business. What began as a farmer’s market style endeavor on a vacant corner in 2008 has evolved into over 4 acres that house a storefront, produce area

and full-service nursery. Our charming 6,000 square-foot building houses an incomparable selection of high-quality foods packaged to go as well as an area for fresh, local produce in season. The beautifully landscaped nursery offers North Carolina grown plants and locally sourced landscaping items. The nursery is open year round and our knowledgeable staff is at the ready to assist you with your gardening and landscaping needs. The Friendly Market is proud to partner with local growers and vendors in order to provide support for the immediate community as well as the state of North Carolina at large. We offer a welcoming atmosphere where our customers are treated like family. Our friendly, helpful staff is dedicated to making a trip to the Market an experience and not just a destination.
