We lost Jobe Harrison over the weekend. He stoped by most every day always talking with David & Chris and I. He would bring us something or just visit as he felt like it.

It’s Penny Patch Produce Education Day, Patchers! With an update after…

•How to pick a watermelon!

1. Look for the crystals on the Steam end. The close up picture shows the crystals.

2. And second tip is turn the mellon over and look for a bright yellow belly. Picture in the top left has a good example of the belly.


Update:

•Due to rain we are in a holding pattern for Green Beans, & Blackberries. They will return…

•We have plenty of other stuff Corn, Tomatoes (all kinds), Peaches , Cucumbers, Squash, Zucchini and all the other good stuff!
