Lookie lookie lookie! Just cut and still hydrating.
Broccoli 2.00 per head
Cabbage 2.50 per head.
Its in the fridge on the porch.
Just like last year its on the honnor system.
Pick out your items put money on black box.
Next week we should have red beets and Zucchini. Canning pickles are getting close as well.

Thank all that bought an enjoyed asparagus this year. We are finished harvesting so there will be no more until next year.

With progress comes problems.
In a past post i was telling y'all that Ms. Betty is doing much better.
The good news she is doing better each day. For that we are thanking God.
The reason, the doctor is using a wound vac, on her leg which has made all difference. That said he now wants us to see him twice a week to change bandage. We have no problem with that. What ever it take. As of now it looks like we will be gone Tuesday and Friday
Since its getting a bit late in the season we have decided to put the plants that are left on sale. Instead of a dollar they will be .50 each. This is for any plant any size. By the way she has some beautiful Basel in plantable peat pots. This will be serve your self and on the honor system.
The green house they are in is down the lane the second on the right. Can't miss it. How many times you heard that one. Simply pick out what you would like and put money in the box on porch. The box is by the fridge.
Once again thank you for your prayers and concerns. They are appreciated.
PS If and when we are here will be glad to help you, we can talk gardening until your tired of listening.

We are out of asparagus until Tuesday eve. That said it has been a great season but it is slowing down. Will post when it is in fridge. Thank you for your support.

Tomorrow is doctor day for Ms.. Betty. Want to let everyone know she is doing much better. Thank you for the prayers and concern Its humbling to say the least.

I was asked about freezing asparagus. Some wash and frezze, simple as that.
We like to blanch better color and stays fimner

Put asparagus in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes

Then plunge in ice water until cool

Wipe dry, very important. Lay out on cookie sheets. Put in freezer until frozen.

Place in air tight bag or vacuum pack.

Any one have a recipe let us know. Always looking for a better way.

Thought i would take some pictures of our out door tomatoes. Yep that would be correct. None. Not going down that rabbit hole with the weather we are having.
We have put in enough stakes for 216 plants. What we also did last week is pot up 216 plants in 4 in coconut fiber pots. They are warm and snug in the green house.
I am not trying to deter anyone from planting early tomatoes. I think if you have the means and ambition to cover/uncover plants its a great idea. In my case not feasible. Just a reminder Betty still has a nice selection of plants.
