Christmas came early this summer when it was announced that Helsel Christmas Trees would be returning to Morristown.

Right now we are nearing the end of pruning season!

During pruning season we shape the tree’s new growth. Trees do not grow naturally into the perfect shape, we have to give them a “haircut.” We prune our trees from the time they are 3 up until we cut them or dig them for harvest. We have some trees that we have pruned for 20 years!

Our family has been Christmas tree farming for 5 generations!

Roddie Helsel is a 3rd generation Christmas tree farmer. He ran his Christmas tree farm for nearly 50 years! He retired from tree farming 4 years ago, and he has now been focusing on his logging business.

Jamie Helsel is a 4th-generation Christmas tree farmer. He has been running his tree farm full-time for 11 years, but he has had his own trees in the ground for over 20 years!

Jamie has three children who have been working on the farm their whole lives! Each kid plays a specific role in the farms business from operating tractors and chainsaws to advertising!

In our family Christmas tree knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation! We cannot wait to continue bringing our passion to Morristown!

Roddie Helsel sold Christmas trees in Morristown for over 40 years! This November, his oldest son, Jamie Helsel, is taking over!

Jamie is a 4th-generation Christmas tree farmer. As a kid, he worked on his grandpa's and dad's tree farms. He has been a tree farmer for as long as he can remember!

Jamie also owns a Christmas tree farm in Northern Michigan, and he is super excited to expand his business to Morristown!

For over 40 years, Helsel's Christmas Tree Farms sold trees in the old As Is Furniture parking lot.

This November, we're moving our tree lot location to the Morristown TN Farmers Market ! This new location has plenty of parking and is handicap accessible!

We came to visit the Morristown Farmers Market in March, and we are so excited to set up our lot in this beautiful space!

After 4 years, the Helsels will be coming back to Morristown, Tennessee to sell Christmas trees!
