I had the absolute best time teaching a few friends how to butcher a chicken today! I think we will make this a regular thing on the farm! Thanks for coming out guys it was a blast and you did an excellent job!

Every time I try to take pictures, I get these Hams🥰 New product showed up today! Now our chick raising will be that much safer, with out the fire risk that comes with heat lamps! Check them out at www.comfortchicks.com ! It mimics a broody momma better than a heat lamp also! And the closer to nature we can get the better 🙌🏽!

Newest skill I'm exploring is hide preserving 🐂 we recently sent our Angus to a local friends processing place and he said it would be no problem to give me the hide back 🥰 I'm hoping to use this to cover my late mother's antique chair😁 but really it's an excuse to gained new experience and skill!

Two cheap green house ideas were trying out. This is stuff I had laying around pretty much. A window hot box style green house and a chicken tunnel repurposed into a high tunnel style green house. Both have cabbage, kale, and butter lettuce currently growing! Lets see how long we can get it to last! The one that dose the best will help us start our growing season early I'm hoping to put my seedlings in it come April! I'll let you know how it goes!

Me and my kids processed this goose for Christmas dinner in and hour and a half 🙌 thank you goose for providing us with a meal and thank you God for providing animals for us to eat!

The marans are laying, I'm happy with my first generation, they will be darker in spring. But it's a good start to my breeding program.
