The Moscow Food Co-op is a cooperatively-owned grocery store in Moscow, Idaho. Everyone is welcome at the Moscow Food Co-op!
(439)

We started with some fresh local produce, a few bulk bins, and a ton of big ideas. Now, 50 years later, we’ve grown to over 7,800 owners strong: a community of food-loving individuals who put local and natural products first. We’re a group of advocates for Palouse producers and families affected by food insecurity.

IMPORTANT FOOD RECALL
We have been notified by our distributor, Charlie’s Produce, that broccoli sprouts produced by Evergreen Fresh Sprouts and sold at the Moscow Food Co-op are being recalled due to a Salmonella outbreak.

If you purchased broccoli sprouts from the Co-op recently:
- Do not eat them; discard them.
- Clean and sanitize any surfaces or items the sprouts may have touched, including refrigerator shelves, containers, countertops, cutting boards, and utensils.
- If you ate the sprouts and are feeling unwell, contact a healthcare provider immediately. If you feel fine, monitor for symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, nausea, or vomiting, and seek care if any develop.

We sincerely apologize for the concern this may cause and are sharing this information as quickly as possible so our community can take appropriate precautions.

September is National Honey Month and Idaho Preferred Month, so what better time to celebrate a producer that keeps things especially close to home?

Based right here in Moscow, Idaho, Woodland Apiaries produces 100% raw, local honey with nothing added—no preservatives, artificial flavors, or foreign honey. Their Wildflower Honey has a light, versatile sweetness that works beautifully in tea and coffee, baked goods, sauces, glazes, and plenty more.

And when we say local, we mean it: Woodland Apiaries supplies honey to the Moscow Food Co-op, along with other local businesses and customers throughout our community. That’s a pretty sweet example of what it means to support Idaho producers.

Celebrate National Honey Month by picking up a jar on your next Co-op run!
