Many things at the farm make it full circle. We harvested our spring crop of Rye Grass/Vetch this spring. Manure was hauled for fertilizer then we are able to plant our 2nd crop for the year such as Corn Silage, Soybeans or Sorgham Sudan that will also be fed. This of course makes more manure for the complete circle. Nothing goes to waste on the farm!

This is really where Milkmaid all started. Our daughter fell in love with the Jersey breed when she was little. How was i supposed to look at that little girl and tell her no? We have milked Holsteins my entire life. Today the majority of the cows we bottle milk from are Jerseys.
