Local, delicious brown Farm fresh eggs. $5.00 per dozen. Horeb. Diagnosed with autism, it was important for Kurt to find work that fit his needs and personality.

Kurt's Kuckin Koop is a small chicken farm owned and operated by Kurt Kalscheur with the support of his family and MARC, Mt. Kurt has worked through many obstacles to create his own business and takes great pride in his chickens and his work. He has a great love for animals and their life cycle, so raising chickens and selling their fabulous eggs is a wonderful fit! Kurt sells fresh brown eggs fro

m his coop and also makes deliveries! He is currently working on obtaining a state license to sell to businesses as well! If you are close to Cross Plains please stop by and purchase some eggs or give Kurt a call, email! You won't be sorry...the eggs are delicious!!!

KURT HAS EGGS FOR SALE!!!!

Kurt is happy being back to his normal routine after the fire and the re build. He has been busy caring for his sisters and collecting his eggs. Even with his weekly deliveries Kurt has eggs available to purchase. His eggs can be picked up at the MARC program at 1961 Commerce Drive between 8-3. Or at Dreamy 280 . If you would like he also does local deliveries in the Mount Horeb area. Please message here if you would like a delivery scheduled or if you have any questions.

✨ A MAGICAL START TO CHRISTMAS!! ✨

A meet and greet with Reindeer Games in Hartford for Kurt and his good friend Madalynn!!!

They met Vixen, Cupid, and Comet! They also got to see baby Dasher, Prancer & the bull, Olive!!

Cindy and Jeff are absolutely AMAZING! They are full of so much knowledge about these amazing animals and so accommodating!! Kurt got to take Cupid’s antlers from 2021 home with him along with some fur of Rudolph’s! (Who was out working while they were there)

COOP UPDATE‼️‼️
KURT’S SISTERS ARE ALL MOVED IN!! AND KURT IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!

We want to thank Kurt’s customers for their patience and continued business!!

What we see today, 6 months ago did NOT seem possible! Kurt’s Koop turned out better than any one could have ever dreamt because of sooo many of YOU!! Whether it was your prayers, your donations of money/ supplies, or your time YOU helped make this possible!!

We want to give special shout outs to Madison Area Rehabilitation Centers Inc (MARC)-Mt. Horeb, Cleary Building Corp., Blain's Farm & Fleet, Marv & Marylou Maier for letting Kurt raise hens in their barn while the new coop was being built, Kurt’s Uncle Kory for letting him build on the family farm, Kurt’s Uncle Doug, his family friend Sh*tty (Jim Ryan), his “best friend” Rich and Pete Austin for helping Big Red (Kurt’s dad) with all the interior framing, walls and ceilings! Along with his cousin Brandon (Wisco Electric) for turning the lights on.. literally!!

Also, a very special shout out to Sandy and crew at Good News Lutheran Church- Mt. Horeb. Sandy reached out to Kurt’s mom, Sheryl, right after news spread of Kurt losing his business and said she wanted to help in any way! Good News donated the lumbar needed for the hens nesting boxes and roosting bars. AND THEN, Sandy’s very talented husband, Dan, made them all in his workshop!

Last week Sandy, Dan and members of Good News came to the new coop and installed the nesting boxes and roosting bars! They also surprised us all by presenting Kurt a check from donations they collected at church, along with a beautiful sign carved by Dan & painted by Sandy!!

Being able to get Kurt back in his normal routine doing what he loves is so important. We TRULY THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of our hearts!! THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!!

Last week our friend Kurt from MARC Mt. Horeb was able to go visit the site of his new chicken coop for his business Kurt's Kluckin' Koop! As you all know his business came to a fast halt when his coop caught fire earlier this year due to lightning. With the help of family, friends and many donations he is rebuilding! His ladies also started laying eggs a few weeks ago. We are incredibly thankful for all the support the community has shown to help Kurt build and bring his business back to what it used to be! 🐣🐥🐥🐥🐣

On Thursday one of Kurt’s new “sisters” laid their first egg!!! AND the new chicken run was laid at the new coop!! 🙌🏻
