Starting May 1st the Shakthi Asian Team has decided to close the store for the summer. During this time we hope to be able make some decisions such as weather we would like to close the store, move to a new location, or remain in the current location. Some our future goals would be provide a wider range of products and lower cost. During this time we are closed we hope to create a new plan.

Currently the Shakthi Asian Team is planning on deciding within the next few weeks weather we would like to keep the store open.

Some of you may be surprised to find some items many of you would probably wouldn't really consider "indian" in our store. Some products are all purpose four, corn meal, corn flour, whole dried corn. These products are priced very reasonable and competitive. Just stop during our hours to check it out.

50% sale store wide going on now

Another update all swad brand products we will not be getting through the regular shipment unless requested with a deposit. This would include swad brand parathas. The reason is due to a change in a distributator. We apoligize for any inconvience. With the next shipment we plan on getting some convience products like frozen idli, rasamali, parathas, roti. And a few staples like besen flour and basmathi rice.

We have empoyees that frequently go to lansing for a non related reason can have basmathi rice picked almost anytime. Just ask and give a deposit if you need a bag.
