Who else is so excited about cherry season? This sweet little fruit is only in season for a short amount of time. Enjoy hand-picked cherries from local farms at market this spring! Common varieties found at market include: Coral, Brooks, Rainier & Bing.

Cherries are a superfood, rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Sweet cherries are best for snacking and tart varieties are best for baking or cooking.

Sugar snap peas are a spring veggie that all ages reach for! Snap peas are crunchy and sweet. They are a healthy snack to be enjoyed pod and all. The pod is often sweeter than the peas. Snap off the ends and remove the string along the pod and you're good to go.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to cook with snap peas:
🥣Stir-Fry: Toss them in a hot pan with a little sesame oil, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for just two minutes so they stay bright and crunchy.

💚Veggie Snack: Serve them chilled with a side of hummus

🥗Seasonal Salad: Thinly slice and toss with lemon vinaigrette, radish and mint.
