Because whole or small cherry tomatoes lack tested, standardized guidelines for safe home canning, freezing and dehydrating are the best, highest-quality ways to store your harvest for later enjoyment. To roast them, drizzle with just enough oil to coat and spread in a single layer on a baking sheet with garlic and herbs such as rosemary, oregano, or basil. Bake at 400°F until the skins split and they start to brown. Store in freezer containers to enjoy year-round.

This has been an amazing season. It has been a pure pleasure to see our regular customers and to make new garden friends who love vegetable gardens as much as we do.
As the season slows down, we want to be sure to let you know we are still open for drop-ins and appointments and have quite a few varieties of tomatoes and peppers as well as squashes and herbs in stock. If we are not here when you stop, please feel free to shop and use our Honor System.
I will try to keep the list of what is available up to date on our website

We have a small farm in the Cascades foothills. We grow our own fruit and vegetables, and we also raise animals: chickens and ducks for eggs, and cows and pigs for meat. We keep goats on our property for pasture control —and for entertainment.

Everybody knows we carry tomatoes, peppers, squashes, cucumbers, and herbs. But did you know about my favorite pumpkin, the Jarrahdale? It is just the best. It can get quite large if you prune it to keep it from running into town. I love it for decorating but mostly for the sweet, deep orange meat inside. It is perfect for pies. Come on over and get yours, and all your other garden plants, before they are gone!
