Located in central Pennsylvania, along the Susquehanna River, The Green Barn Berry Farm offers a little over ten acres of pick your own berry bliss. Our farm is family owned and operated and has been in business for over 60 years. Previously, our farm was known as the Ralph and Edna Styer Farm. Our berry season s

In the fall we offer pick your own pumpkins, hayrides to the pumpkin patch, and family oriented activities for all ages. The fields are easily accessible and pickers of all ages are welcome.

🍓Update: The berries need time to ripen and the warmer temperatures heading our way will be perfect. For the remainder of the week, the following will be the plan.
🍓We will be CLOSED Wednesday, 6-03-26
🍓We will be OPEN Thursday, 6-04-26 from 8 a.m. until noon. The closer we get to noon the lighter the picking might be.
🍓We will be CLOSED Friday, 6-05-26
🍓We will be OPEN Saturday, 6-06-26 from 8 a.m. until noon. The closer we get to noon the lighter the picking might be.
🍓Thank you for your continued patience. We will soon turn a corner and when we do, I anticipate being open our normal hours. Until then, we wait together.
🍓Please check back Sunday, June 7, after 6 p.m. to see when we will be open the following week. Our family is doing the best we can to predict field conditions based on the weather and the amount of visitors.

🍓Strawberry picking today, June 2, 2026, Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until noon. The picking might be light the closer we get to noon. These cool evenings have slowed the ripening process. Please don’t worry as there are tons of green berries out there that will need your picking hands soon. 😊

🍓Update for Monday, June 1, 2026 & Tuesday, June 2, 2026…
I just walked the fields. The berries need one more day of sunshine.
🍓We will be CLOSED Monday, 6-01-26
🍓We will be OPEN Tuesday, 6-02-26 from 8 a.m. until noon. The closer we get to noon the lighter the picking might be.
🍓Thank you for your patience as Mother Nature brings us warm days but much cooler evenings. We will soon turn a corner. When we do, I anticipate being open our normal hours. Until then, we wait together.
🍓Please check back Tuesday evening after 7 p.m. to see when we will be open again. I worry if we start back into the field too soon you will be disappointed. I also know a lot of you drive a distance. With the price of gas and your drive time our family wants to make the best decision possible.

May 30, 2026, 🍓 picking was a success. So many hugs, smiles, and happy tears were shared. Our community is the best and we have so many more days ahead.
