Facebook reminded us of these photos today, bringing back so many warm memories.
These photos were taken in 2019 at one of our farms — our 2318 Greenwood Road location. This was one of the places where our farming journey was taking shape and where so many special family memories were made.
Back then, there was no big team, no stores, and nothing close to the scale we have today. Just our family, our land, our first plantings, our animals, and a lot of hard work.
Over these seven years, the farm has changed — and so have we.
Our children grew up alongside our orchards. 🌳🍎
The little trees grew bigger and began producing fruit, while our children grew right alongside them — helping us, learning to work, and experiencing what life on the land is really like.
And, of course, our animals have always been part of this journey. ❤️
Our dogs, Duke and Elsa, hold a very special place in these memories. They have never been just farm dogs to us — they are part of our family. They grew up alongside our children, ran through the fields with them, always greeted us with excitement, and shared so many happy family moments with us.
Looking at these photos today makes us realize something very special: we weren’t just building a farm. We were creating a place where our family was growing up.
As our children grew, so did the trees. Orchards were planted, the first harvests came, new dreams were born, and step by step, it all became what we know today as Sun Berry Orchard.
Seven years means thousands of days filled with hard work, joy, challenges, setbacks, and small victories.
These photos are especially precious to us because they remind us where we started and how far we have come.
Our farm grew together with our family. And that is why, to us, it will always be so much more than just a business.
