When one chapter ends, a new adventure begins!
It has been quite an honor to be a staple of Murrysville’s community for the last 70 years. We will forever cherish the memories made, watching families grow and being a part of your lives for so long. Thank you for everyone who popped in to say goodbye, sent cards and shared memories on our page. We will miss seeing your friendly faces and wish everyone the very best!

With that, we end this chapter and close our doors for good. Thank you, for everything!

“How Lucky are we to have something that makes saying Goodbye so hard”…

On Sunday May 26, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Ferri’s IGA Supermarket closed their doors after 70 years.

The management and Employees would like to thank all the Customers for their support over the last 7 decades .

There are so many memories that each one of us holds whether being a customer, current employee or past employee.

We have all met new acquaintances over the past years and will remain friends.

We are so proud of our standards of providing nothing but Excellent Customer Service to our customers.

Today is our last and final day of operation. Thank you for all of the cards, visits and memories shared. We will miss seeing everyone and thank you for your support over the last 70 years!

A decision has been made, and our last day of operation will be this Sunday, May 26th. Thank you for your support. We will close the store for the last & final time at 5:30.

“Just like old times” is what Dan said when he stopped in to visit tonight.
Dan was a cashier from 1999-2005.

We do have some product left. Deli, produce, dairy, frozen (bags of ice for the holiday weekend) and some other items. Please stop in and say hi, and bye and maybe share your favorite memory of Ferri’s with us!

The year was 1971 when Deb worked at Ferri’s as a cashier. Lloyd was the customer and only had eyes for her. He took a dare , asked for her phone number and the rest is history.
Deb and Lloyd will be celebrating 51 years of marriage.
So .. Ferri’s is not only known for their Meat, Deli, Bakery and excellent Customer Service but we are known for matchmaking too ..
