Muscatine Area Farmers Market

Muscatine Area Farmers Market Where to find us:
Every Saturday May-October: 7:30-11:30 a.m. on the corner of 3rd and Cedar Street

Our market's mission is: "To educate local communities on the benefits of shopping and eating locally; to serve as a destination for fellowship, food and fun while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit". With locally grown produce, fresh-baked goods, soaps, crafts and more, there is something for everyone at our market. Live music, cooking and exercise demos make the market a fun and family-friendly destination.

Thanks to all the vendors and customers for making today go so smoothly. Just a couple of small bumps left to go as the city repairs the blocks in rows 3 and 4. Thanks also to the city for their cooperation during this period to minimize the impact to the market.
Thanks again to all.

If the city opens the construction area to us on Saturday (weather permitting) it will be for pedestrian traffic only. Vehicles will not be allowed on the new concrete. At this time we plan on using rows 3, 4, 5 and 6 for the majority of vendors. Please set up as close as possible to your neighbors as space will be at a premium. If we run out of space and are able to use the area under construction it will be used as overflow. Those vendors will park on 3rd street to unload and then move their vehicles to other parking.
We have been looking forward to this project for awhile now. Please be patient and we will get through this.

Parking Lot #7 Restoration Project is underway.

Heuer Construction began removing concrete today and will prep and pour new pavement mid‑week, weather permitting. This section of the lot will remain closed to vehicles through June 1 for curing and restriping.

The City will open the area for Farmers Market vendors and patrons on Saturday, May 30. Please note: No parking on 3rd Street between Cedar & Chestnut starting at 5 a.m. Saturday for vendor setup.

Work on the permeable paver section begins the week of June 1 and continues in phases through June 12.
