It's too late for new vendors to join us for Opening Day is this Friday, but there’s still plenty of season to join us!

Brunswick on a Friday evening just hits different. There’s something about the this town with it's river views, the sound of nearby trains, and a market full of neighbors gathering at the end of the week that makes this one feel special. At the heart of it? Farmers and artisans who actually grow, raise, or make their products locally.

No resale. No yard sale setups. No MLMs.
Just honest goods and the kind of people who take real pride in what they bring to the table.

We’re currently accepting applications for new vendors ready to add something unique to the mix.

Right now, we’re especially looking for vendors offering:
🔨 Blacksmithing
🥒 Fermented Foods like Pickles
🌶️ Hot sauce
👜 Leatherwork
🍝 Pasta
🫖 Pottery

At this time, we are not seeking additional baked goods or sweets, bath & body products, candles, flowers or plants, honey, knit/crochet items, or sweet corn.

If you’re ready to be part of a well-run market with a supportive staff and a welcoming vendor family, apply today...and see you Friday for Opening Day!

I just love this older photograph of Our Lovely Model holding a big bucket of freshly harvested Watercress. We're sharing it today, because Watercress is back in season. It's one of the very first new veggies of the Spring, with that fresh, peppery bite that wakes everything up. I love it in an omelet, while our Lovely Model swears by it with fried potatoes. How do you like to use watercress? Place an Order Today - https://mailchi.mp/aa22d40ab309/mmfm-weekly-reminder-14209382

This season the vendors across all three of our markets will be sporting brand new shirts and hats. Each shirt is proudly marked with “VENDOR” on the sleeve, and color-coded to represent their market. It’s a small detail that makes a big statement about who we are and the community we’re building, together.

Supporter shirts and hats are coming soon, and let’s just say… the ideas for market swag are starting to snowball. We’re trying to pace ourselves, but when you find a partner this good, it’s hard not to go all in.

Working with Toxic Trait Tees has been an absolute game-changer. The quality, attention to detail--it’s all there. Kerry has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish.

If you’re looking for custom apparel done right, we can’t recommend this small business highly enough.

After overindulgence during the holiday season, January needs food that makes you feel good again. Foods to fuel you, nourish you, and still feel comforting on cold winter days.

This is the time of year to restock the basics: the pantry staples you actually use, the ones that are better choices for snacking, that make meals healthier, and slow mornings turn into something better.

☕ Freshly roasted coffee beans from Druidcraft Coffee for better mornings
🌰 Assorted nuts from The Nutty Smoker are great for snacking, salads, and easy lunches.
🫒 Imported olives and olive oils from Stefania Olive Oil, sourced straight from their family farm in Greece

These pantry staples, and more, can be found at our next market. While they may feel trendy, they're just good ingredients that support eating well everyday.

03/17/2026

One question we hear every year is why all vendors are asked to reapply, even those who have been with us for a long time. The short answer is that while most of our vendors do return from year to year, the market itself changes, and we take time each season to assess what the market needs to stay healthy, balanced, and successful for everyone.

Reapplying does not mean we start from scratch or forget the history you have with us. Seniority is always taken into consideration, with priority given first to farmers, then other food makers, followed by artisans, and then crafters and direct service providers. At the same time, space is limited, and the mix of products matters. This is why a previous wait list does not mean you will not be accepted this year, but it also is not a guarantee of placement.

Each season is a fresh look at the whole picture, with the goal of serving our customers well while supporting our vendors as fairly as possible. Our annual vendor application will be posted to our website on or about February 1, so keep an eye out for it soon.
