There always seems to be something happening on a Fall weekend. Festivals, football, craft shows, family plans, you name it. Before you head off to wherever the weekend takes you, start your Saturday morning at the Myersville Farmers Market.

We’re here every Saturday morning, with local farmers and artisans bringing you locally grown and locally made products. These are the people who are here for our community year round, and your support helps keep them here.

Our outdoor season continues through Halloween. Then, beginning the third week of November, we’ll move indoors for our twice-a-month winter season, continuing all the way through the first week of April.

So whatever else you have planned this weekend, make the market your first stop. We’ll see you first thing tomorrow morning!

There’s a reason you’ll often see a line forming at Butter’s Breads before the market even opens. Sarah doesn’t just bake bread. She runs a business. She watches trends, pays attention to what her customers want, keeps an eye on what’s happening in the world of small business, and somehow has become the undisputed queen of social media. (Yes, we’ve all seen her shake her rear end on there.)

Labor Day Weekend is here, and there’s no better way to start the holiday than at the Farmers Market!

The tables will be overflowing with fresh, local produce for your weekend meals, plus plenty of other good things to take home. Mt Airy Mocha will be here with light breakfast fare, coffee, espresso drinks, dirty sodas, and more, while Kate Smiles takes the market stage with live music.

Bob takes pieces of wood and does his very best to bring out what is already there: the grain, the knots, the character, and all the little imperfections that make each piece unique. The result is lodge-inspired furniture and décor with a distinctly rustic, natural feel.

At first I thought I was going to be controversial by saying that sometimes the frosting is the best part of the cake, but let's be real... everyone feels that way. Sure the cake needs to be moist and delicious, but the frosting is what's important.

Momma's in the Kitchen makes what I would call a very respectable, delightfully old-fashioned cake, but then she puts this frosting on it that has me completely rethinking the proper cake-to-frosting ratio. It’s creamy, rich, sweet without being ridiculous, and somehow manages to make a simple slice of cake feel like a special occasion.

Emily, aka Momma, doesn’t stop at cake. She also brings bagels, cookies, brownies and blondies, so there are plenty of ways to treat yourself to a "small reward," this Saturday at the market.
