🍒 Important Tart Cherry Update 🍒
To all of our wonderful customers who were hoping to purchase tart cherries this year, we have some disappointing news.
Due to a very poor tart cherry crop this season, we have been notified that there are no tart cherries available this year. Unfortunately, even the frozen surplus from last year's harvest has also been completely used up, so there simply are no tart cherries available this season.
We know many of you look forward to them every year, and we're just as disappointed as you are. We sincerely apologize for the late notice. We held out hope that fruit might become available, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
As farmers know all too well, Mother Nature has the final say. Some years bring abundant harvests, and others bring challenges like this one.
Although we won't have tart cherries this year, we'd still love to welcome you to the market! We have fresh peaches, sweet corn, melons, tomatoes, local produce, delicious baked goods, goat's milk products, and an incredible selection of items from our local vendors.
And if you're looking for a fun day out, be sure to join us on Saturday, August 8, for our Family Fun Day at Lily Creek Farms! It's a great chance to enjoy the farm, make memories with your family, and support local agriculture and our community.
