✨ Vendor Spotlight: Light Curves Glass

Meet Joan Nicole of Light Curves Glass, where stained glass, sterling silver jewelry and giclée prints all come from a lifelong love of making things by hand.

Joan fell in love with glass more than 20 years ago after walking into a stained glass shop in Clifton, NJ. “The colors, movement and texture of the glass got me giddy with excitement,” she remembers. She started making Christmas gifts for friends — and never really stopped.

Her work soon expanded into jewelry, originally as a way to make use of the beautiful pieces of glass left over from her custom windows. Today, Joan hand cuts and shapes each piece, working with art glass and hand-blown glass, sterling silver and, sometimes, semi-precious stones.

Along the way, she apprenticed with a master glass painter in Siena, Italy, learning traditional glass painting and fusing techniques that expanded her work even further.

Chefs Shane & Nicki Nollinger of Between the Tines Catering are putting crisp frisée, sweet apples and freshly shaved fennel to work in a simple seasonal salad. Come have a taste and grab the recipe — FREE & tasty for all!

Farm Fresh Cooking Demo & Tasting at today's Narrowsburg Farmers Market

Join us for a seasonal cooking demo and tasting prepared by Danielle, our Market Manager.

Celebrate the beginning of harvest season with a simple, fresh salad featuring crisp apples and pears from Trapani Farms, sharp cheddar from Calkins Creamery, greens from Willow Wisp Organic Farm, onion from Two Creek Farm, toasted nuts, and a sweet-tangy maple cider vinaigrette made with maple syrup from Journey’s End Farm.

Made with ingredients you can find right here at the market, this easy recipe brings together some of September’s best flavors and is simple enough to recreate at home.

🌱 Vendor Spotlight: Two Creek Farm

Meet Brent Habig of Two Creek Farm. For Brent and his family, farming is about more than producing good food. It’s about caring for the land, raising animals well, and working with the rhythms of nature rather than against them.

At their Lakewood, PA farm, that means regenerative agriculture and an incredible variety of food: organic pastured rainbow eggs, pasture-raised chicken and turkey, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, forest-raised pork, raw honey, seasonal vegetables and cut flowers, plus their own lard and tallow body products.

You’ll also find Calkins Creamery and Journey’s End Farm products at their booth.

This week at the market, Two Creek’s ground beef deal is still going strong — buy 5 lbs. and get 1 lb. FREE! And there’s plenty coming out of the garden right now, too. Along with heirloom tomatoes, look for dried onions, garlic and potatoes, plus a fresh flush of greens including arugula, spinach, mesclun and head lettuce.

🐓 Want to see where it all comes from? After the market this Saturday, September 5, Two Creek Farm is hosting a two-hour Pasture Walk at 3 PM. See regenerative and organic farming in action—from pasture-raised animals and no-till gardens to beekeeping and trees integrated into grazing systems.

Led by Brent, an Accredited Professional with the Savory Institute, the family-friendly walk is a chance to explore the farm, ask questions, and learn how farming can build healthy soil and restore the land.

Saturday at the market 🌿

Come by for your weekly tomatoes, bread, flowers, cheese, something sweet—or just to wander around and see who’s there. There’s always a little bit of everything, and usually someone you haven’t seen in a while.

A few things to look forward to this week:

🥩 Two Creek Farm has beef back in the case, including filet, ribeye and NY strips, plus their 5 lbs. ground beef + 1 lb. free special. Their market garden will have new potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, arugula, fresh onions and summer squash.

🎶 Farmers Daughter & Friends will be playing old-time fiddle and classic country as you shop and catch up.
