This is in fact not the truth… deliberately seeking connections and partnerships, have not happened, and are not happening at least not with folks that look like us…we launched two farmers market’s….and community and city help pretty much zero!

Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, founded in 1887, joyfully announces the appointment of Rev. Robert Hall as its new Senior Pastor-Elect.

This moment marks a historic and Spirit-led transition as Abundant Faith Fellowship, the congregation planted by Rev. Hall and Lady Hall in 2023, has merged with Mount Olive to bring fresh life, energy, and multigenerational vitality to this historic church.

Rev. Hall is known for his dynamic preaching, compassionate leadership, and visionary approach to ministry. He is committed to honoring Mount Olive’s sacred legacy while leading the unified congregation into a bold new season of growth and impact.

“We stand today on the shoulders of our ancestors who built this house of faith,” said Rev. Hall. “Through this merger, God has united two families into one, to carry forward the mission of Christ in Nashville with greater strength, unity, and purpose. The best days of Mount Olive are not behind us. They are before us.”

The Mount Olive community invites the city of Nashville and beyond to join us as we celebrate this new chapter on September 14th at 11AM. We are excited to continue the work of faith, hope, and love for generations to come. Come JOIN US!
