Welcome to Hart Ranch!
What started with just a few goats for our kids’ 4-H projects turned into a lifelong passion. Both of our children went on to become 10-year 4-H members, and somewhere along the way, our entire family fell in love with goats. Today, our kids have grown up, graduated from Purdue, and started lives of their own—but Matt and I are still just as passionate about our goats as ever.
About 15 years ago, we began making goat milk soap for family and friends. What started as a small hobby has grown into the business you know today.
Matt now works full-time caring for our animals, crafting soap, and traveling to markets to meet our wonderful customers. Heather continues to teach math at Center Grove High School while also helping run the ranch. From making shampoo bars, shave soaps, lotions, and lip balms to managing finances, sourcing materials, planning, online sales, packaging, gift bags, and market events—she wears many hats around here!
One of the greatest blessings of this journey has been the incredible people we’ve met along the way. The friendships we’ve built and the support we’ve received mean more to us than words can express.
