We are a family farm located in Bellevue that is committed to providing our fellow Nashvillians with the produce their bodies crave. We combine the produce we grow in our "urban farm", with produce from other local growers to create our Half Bushels and Pecks, a weekly CSA program that is unlike anything in the area. Check back often for updates on t

his awesome opportunity! While we are at Nashville Farmers' Market Friday - Sunday each week, we are open daily at our onsite farmstand, located at the intersection of Highway 70 S and Highway 70/Charlotte Pike in Bellevue (8250 Highway 70 S, Nashville, TN 37221).

Good morning guys. Looks like we got some sun returning this week. Time to work on my tan. Couple things real quick. I need to flip this tunnel and plant dahlias over the weekend, so I need this beautiful feverfew to move to a new home. $10 per bucket on the feverfew today and tomorrow. It’s a beautiful dried flower. Help me out. Gonna do BOGO on all our plants a few more days. I’d like to reduce inventory a little more on our annuals before we get into Summer. Help me out. Got lots of produce. Come buy it. Help me out.

Should be a beautiful week. Lots of ideas in my head, just got to see if this old man can make them happen. Flower fields and Farmstand open 8-6 Today.

8:30-6:30. This girl put in some hours today. She did let me know that she’s probably not gonna be a farmer when she gets older because “I’m not you, and you’re not me.” Wise little red head I got by my side.

The behind the scenes that no one ever sees except the farmers. Every time you grab an item off our tables it keeps us pushing towards tomorrow. We thank you. I try to price everything with that buzz word “sustainable “ in mind. A price that keeps us in business and a price that keeps you coming back. It’s a razor thin line some weeks. Know this, our crew is going as hard as we can.

BOGO on all nursery plants through Sunday. I’ve got tons of geraniums, shrubs, trees, hanging baskets. Need a little help getting some of these off my water bill.

Smoke rolling down the fields this morning ahead of any chance of rain. Come see us.

Strawberry fields looking a little different today. It was a great season for them and now we are planting cover crops and sunflowers. We just gotta keep on livin man.

LOTS of tomatoes being harvested this week. Growing them this early under cover is time consuming and not cheap. Treat yourself this week and load up.

Grateful for the rain last week. Hopefully our well has had a chance to recover and get ready for summer grind. The rain has slowed our nursery sales. I gots a lot of inventory I need in your landscape. BOGO on all plants today thru Sunday. Got to move some stuff to make room for our last push before Summer. Help me help you help me. You’re losing money not buying my plants. And no one wants to lose money.

Should be a great day. We have been bus planting thousands of dahlias. It’s hard work right now, but should be worth it late Summer and Fall. Open 8-6 today.

6:38 last night I made the difficult decision of pulling the plug on strawberry season. There is courage and bravery in coming to terms that a relationship is over. I’m no hero and I certainly don’t feel courageous or brave this morning. Dressed in all black and remembering the strawberry season that was. In lieu of flowers we ask that you buy tomatoes and beef in remembrance.

I’m gonna put my feelings aside and pick flowers for you ladies like I do every Wednesday. No pomp or circumstance. No big to do. Just love pouring from my broken heart right into these gorgeous blooms. Some would call that heroic. Again, I’m no hero. Just a guy exchanging flowers, plants and produce for cash. Stop by and pick some things up today. Or don’t. We will be out here humbly pushing towards a day when the sun decides to shine again. Open 8-6.

I just had a tough drive home. Reflecting back to simpler times. Late March when the first ripe strawberries touched my hands. The air was more crisp. It was a special moment in time. I’m just gonna come out and say it. Strawberry season is over! I’ve done all I can. I’m not gonna curse the sky for too much rain this week. Instead I’ll remember the good times. Strawberrystained fingers. The sweet aroma of sun kissed berries in the afternoon. That taste of sweetness attached to my mustache as I walked the fields. I’m all in my feelings tonight, but cowboys don’t cry. I’m gonna get up tomorrow. Put a brave face on and harvest you ladies some beautiful flowers. If anyone wants to share a memory of the strawberries, feel free to comment now.
