The Christian Book and Nutrition Center is an independent Christian Book store owned and managed by Manuel and Denise Avitia. Located in National City, next to the Paradise Valley SDA Church, the Book Store is a fixture in the community. The store was originally purchased in 1991 by Ernie & Olga Sanchez, when the former owner chose to remove the San Diego store from the portfolio of Adventist Book

Centers. In 2022, the Avitia family were called to purchase the store and be part of His ministry, to connect with fellow believers, and to share His love with others through CBNC. Customers include the San Diego Adventist community, and a broader lifestyle clientele which primarily consists of vegetarians and vegans. The Christian Book and Nutrition Center is the largest of its kind in the San Diego area. It carries the full line of Loma Linda / Worthington food products as well as the complete line of Christian literature from the Pacific Press Publishing Association. Our mission is to invite everyone to a happier and healthier lifestyle.

the Lord is working with my weakness and wanting to do things my way. Lord help me today to let go and let God. Show me step by step my failures and Your mercy and grace and willingness to help. Show me Your peace and cleanse me. Help me know You and cling to You, wrestle with You like Jacob and not let You go. Thank You for Your love and patience and Your help with what I cannot do myself. Help me trust You to do it through me so all glory can be to You.

Thanking God that He sent His Son to die and resurrect for each of us! On Friday each chapel service at San Diego Academy honored this sacrifice and our new life in Him. Hannah is holding a craft that they made, high school worshipped together with an agape feast and communion, laying their burdens literally at the feet of the cross. On Sabbath the HS choir sang at South Bay SDA Church and the evening closed with one of our employees getting baptized at coronado bay. If you have a chance, pick up Darlene’s handmade Resurrection/Easter/Spring cards. We are open today until 2. But send the power of God’s Word any day!
