🐔 CHICKEN PREORDERS OPEN 🐔

I’m taking preorders now for a limited batch of locally raised Cornish broilers.

Expected processing: early to mid June
Next batch: late July to early August

These are raised right here in our backyard and processed locally. They’re not factory farmed, and while I can’t compete with big box prices, I absolutely beat them on quality, flavor, and nutrition.

💰 $5.50 per pound
Average birds run 5–8 lbs
Available whole or cut up

⚠️ $10 deposit per bird required to reserve
Deposit goes toward your final total.

We’ve got fresh goodies available at the corner of 13th & 6th Corso!

🥚 Fresh city eggs — $4/dozen
🌱 Pick your own rhubarb — 6 stalks for $3
🍯 Honey — $14/pint

Everything is honor system and set out in the cooler/stand for easy pickup.

I also do baked-to-order goodies through City Slicker Chickens Cottage Bakery. I can make just about any pastry you’d like — cakes, breads, muffins, bars, cookies, cinnamon rolls, pies, cream horns, and more. I do not do fancy decorative cakes, but I do make delicious ones.

To keep things fresh and avoid waste, baked goods are preorder only. If you’d like something baked, just message me with:

- when you’d like it

I’ll get back with you on a price we can agree on.

LAST CHANCE to preorder locally raised Cornish broilers for dressing in August!

While we aren’t able to compete with big box stores on prices, we beat them, hands down, on flavor and nutritional value.

$3.48 per pound for real chickens grown locally, in our back yard, versus a Petri dish in a lab is worth it!

*Final cost by weight with average birds, fully dressed, 5-8 pounds. Whole or cut up.

Due to previous no shows/late cancellations, we must require a $10 deposit on preorders. This amount will be applied to your final costs.

We accept most online payments like cashApp, PayPal and Venmo, as well as good ol’ cards and cash.

Cultured meat, grown from real animal cells, will soon be available in restaurants in San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

As if cinnamon rolls couldn’t get any better, the bottom is soft, gooey, yet caramelized, and has an amazing fluffy texture of these made from scratch cinnamon rolls. (6 rolls)

This Cashew Chicken originated and was first served in Springfield, Missouri.

Granny’s Cottage Cheese Cake 8x8 $10 This cake is a delicious combination of custard and cake. Don't let the cottage cheese scare you. It adds a wonderful taste and texture to the dessert.

PRODUCE UPDATE:

I have plenty of rhubarb; the strawberries, left on the vines, should be ripe by this weekend.

My peaches survived the late frost and two hail storms! The tree is full of some of the best peaches I’ve ever tasted! I am hoping to have some in my belly by end of June!
