Finally going to bed - wrapped up the final day of the Ozarks Homesteading Expo and what happens at the exact moment it’s over? It hasn’t rained in weeks and here came a downpour, however brief it was very welcome- and look what appears! God’s promise… we worried we couldn’t pull this off, we worried no one would show up, we worried about the heat - but we did and you did and He did!
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
Photos to come… there are so many!!

This is what the boys have been up to all weekend. Working hard!! So blessed and thankful for these kids.
Don’t get me wrong…they have their teenage moments. But I wouldn’t trade them for the world. They are the best.

Finally was able to grab our youngest, Liam. Make sure you go to Only Outdoors on YouTube and subscribe to his channel!

So very true! Farmers and vendors literally count on every one of their small business sales and the gratitude is felt even stronger on these hot summer days.

It's hot. We get it. Just ask our farmers. They're hot, too.

This heat is showing up with an intensity that's unmatched. 🔥🔥🔥
Here is something worth mentioning, farmer Bill (pictured here) from Triple H Farms is still showing up,cranking that pepper roaster without a complaint. He grew those peppers himself. Worked hard every day so our market customers could have the experience of enjoying locally grown, freshly roasted peppers.
On top of that, did you know that Jamie from Redings Mill Bread makes his bread fresh each and every week standing right in front of a WOOD FIRED OVEN? Roaring flames directly over his shoulder as he kneads that bread every single week. Jeanne and her family from Grandma Fresh Valley head out in the very early hours harvesting before the heat of the day sets in.
And we can't forget about our bakers. Tammy from The Rustic Sourdough Co. and Dana from Faith & Flour Bakery both see many late nights that spill, like a blur, into early mornings baking, wrapping and packing their products so it's fresh for our customers.

Market life is not for the faint of heart. August is hot, there's just no way around it. The kids have to go back to school, and you have to do all the things.
Our community is truly one-of-a-kind and that's something we cannot say enough.
We have a wonderful mix of loyal market customers, downtown friends and neighbors, and the support of Historic Downtown Neosho that has been the fuel that's allowed our market to thrive. Everything that our market farmers, bakers, and makers do is to bring top quality, locally grown and crafted goods directly into the hands of our customers. It's the juice that keep them going and they genuinely love seeing regular customers, new faces, and visitors each and every week.

Friends, keep showing up. Even when it's hot. Even when it's rainy. Because we will be there. Roasting those peppers, baking that bread, and squeezing those lemons for each and every one of you. You help make us who we are, and for that, we couldn't be more thankful.
9 to noon, every Saturday, directly across from the Neosho Library.
