POSITION: Production Manager
LOCATION: Roggen, Colorado
SUPERVISOR: Senior Production Manager
PAY: Depending on Experience- Salary to be determined based on relevant experience.

Role Description/Summary:
Opal Foods is looking for a Production Manager for our Roggen Farm location. This position is responsible for managing flock care and egg production operations at our Farm in Roggen, CO. The position will provide direction and supervision to production team members in order to achieve quality, safety, and operational goals. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations and overall production results for this location. Salary to be determined based on relevant experience.

Requirements: (knowledge, experience, skills, education)
5 plus years’ progressive experience in egg production, live poultry, or related fields
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to effectively speak, read, and write in English
Demonstrates strong communication skills to effectively manage team members
Must have mechanical understanding with ability to trouble shoot basic mechanics and ability to guide production maintenance technicians
Must be a hands-on and interactive manager willing to teach/train team members.

POSITION: Working Production Maintenance Lead
LOCATION: Iowa Falls, Iowa
SUPERVISOR: Production Manager
PAY: Depending on Experience- UP TO $70,000 annually.

Essential Job Functions – Must be able to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodations. 1. Maintain and follow preventative maintenance program for all machines, fans, belts, motors, chains, feeders, augurs, etc. related to production
2. Ensure production maintenance techs are performing their duties, and that all production equipment is working properly
3. Assign tasks to maintenance technicians and provide overall guidance
4. Maintain records for preventative maintenance, fire protection equipment, etc.
5. Ensure the maintenance team follows the preventative maintenance program and record keeping
6. Be available/reachable for emergencies 24/7
7. Maintain building and facility maintenance throughout the year
8. Order parts and help maintain and manage spare parts inventory
9. Oversee manure belt maintenance program and schedule
