This week our farmers are celebrating the rain, regardless of the amounts!
Saturday our market bell is rolling out the red carpet for a change of seasons with The First Bakes of Fall! Our bakers have gathered all fall-inspired recipes and will be filling their market tables with all the fall goodness you can imagine.
🍁From classic cinnamon rolls to pumpkin cream cheese muffins, to pecan bars and everything in between. There's snickerdoodle cookies, molasses crinkles, pumpkin bread and delicious carrot cake and pumpkin bread. Don't miss out on the fun, fall goodness.
🍁 Produce always takes center stage at our market. Tomatoes are still available in a variety of types. Green, heirloom, cherry and grape tomatoes as well. Okra is coming on strong along with a wide assortment of peppers, squashes, onions, kale and cucumbers.
🍁 Pasture raised meats and eggs will be ready take home. We routinely have a variety of beef cuts, pork including bacon, sausage, brats, and chops, chicken, lamb and even goat. Pastured eggs will be available as well. Don't forget about locally grown mushrooms to enjoy.
🍁 We will also have tallow skin care products on hand in different scents.
🍁 Freshly rolled egg rolls and fried rice will be ready. There's a new lemonade flavor in store and the FIrst Bakes of Fall will in full-swin in Downtown Neosho
