We can’t wait to bring these special mooncakes back to Nevada City for another year! 🙌🏼 We asked which Ăn Xôi handmade mooncake flavors you needed to have in this year’s box, and based on your answers, we’ve put together our very own Winnie Mooncake Box!

Each box includes 4 flavors:
🥮 X.O. Chicken with Salted Egg Yolk (contains shellfish)�🥥 Young Sticky Rice Coconut (snow skin)�🩷 Raspberry Pistachio�🫘 Red Bean Jujube

Made in small batches by Thảo Bùi & Duy Võ of NYC Vietnamese food pop-up Ăn Xôi, these mooncakes are inspired by Vietnamese flavors and traditions, with unique, modern twists. Each one is freshly made without preservatives or additives.

Boxes are $60 and available by preorder only. Preorders close Thursday, September 17 at 6 PM, with pickup at Winnie by September 24 - just in time for Mid-Autumn Festival on September 25! 🌕

For anyone wondering how Winnie’s doing these days - she’s 17 now and mostly “doing okay”! She has her good days when she has more energy and is racing to her food bowl, and the not-so-good days when her cough seems a little worse and a new health issue pops up out of nowhere.

She’ll suddenly decide she won’t eat anything if she smells even a whiff of medicine or supplements (of which there are many), or whine to be let outside and then change her mind 4 times in a row (I call these her ‘fake outs’.)

But sometimes she still looks like a sweet puppy - like she does now after getting groomed (and making the groomer question their life choices). Anyway, you probably won’t see her hanging out at the shop anymore, but she’s still here in spirit, growling in the corner ❤️

P.S. How cute is this portrait of her?! We won a senior pet portrait session with Bokeh Fine Art Portraiture a few months ago and love it so much 🥹
