It is time we publicly announce our blueberry patch is permanently closed. The back to back drouths we had the last two summers completely killed the remaining blueberry plants we had. It was a hard decision on if we wanted to continue, which would require planting new plants and starting over and we, as a family, made the decision that was not what we wanted to do.
The kids are older and have their own hobbies and interest; showing and raising livestock being one of them. Their hobbies require much of our time and their dedication to their animals, and showing livestock is what we enjoy doing as family.
We are thankful for the loyal customers we have had over the years and enjoyed meeting each of you and seeing you every year. Great friends and relationships were made in the 14 years we were in business.
A little update on the kids; Avery graduated in May and is headed to the University of Arkansas in the fall. Lawson will be a freshman at Nevada High School and Brooks will be starting kindergarten. While it is bittersweet ending this era, we are excited to see the new opportunities and goals the kids have and are eager to support them in their endeavors.
We wish you all well and thank you again for your support over the years.
