With the increasing price of eggs back in spring, we decided to purchase and raise our own chickens. We currently have 12 hens, 2 roosters, 2 ducks and 2 turkeys. In September we were getting roughly a dozen eggs a day, it has slowed a little now that it has gotten colder, however we are still getting 7-9 a day. We cannot and do not consume that many eggs, so we decided we will sell them at a very reasonable price. We are not looking to "make money" off of the eggs, simply help cover the cost of feed while helping others out. So if you are interested in purchasing any eggs the price is $3/dozen $4/ dozen and a half amd $5/ dozen of duck eggs.
