We've been blessed this year with a good amount of rain and the heat has been held back a little. I guess you can say the oven is pre-heating. Oh well, it is Texas.

New Products
Just a few new products in the store that we wanted to share with you...

Yeehaw Brisket Chips: A friend of ours from Wimberley brought these to us to try out. Oh my are they good. Think Texas BBQ in bacon-strip form...fat and all! The company is from Dripping Springs, so pretty local.


MaddPasta: Made right here in New Braunfels this the closest you can get to Italian made real pasta made only with freshly milled, organic heritage grain durum. No eggs or oils, just durum & water. Easier to digest, high in protein and low on the glycemic index. Just like in Italy they are hand cut with bronze dies.


Empower_Dough: If you haven't heard us talk about Empower Dough you must have been doing a social media sabbatical, lost your phone or have been living in a cave. Ha! Sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, English muffins and sometimes bagels. Michelle, the master baker knows her stuff. All sourdough and oh so good! Delivered on Thursdays and most of the time sold out by Saturday.

Juice Jerky: May not be a local company but is a great product that my niece found at a farmers market in San Diego. All natural, handmade and minimally processed. Just real fruit blended and dehydrated, creating a jerky-like texture and chew that's fun to eat for both adults and kids.

Young McDonald Farm: What you might see at the NB Farmer's Market we've probably got it here now. All their grassfed meats, farm fresh eggs, jams & jellies, pickles, soaps, marinated garlic, tallow creams and more. And...seasonal veggies!

Flores Tortillas: I tell you what, these have become one of our favorites. Made with tallow these are a superior choice to any other tortillas out there. Add a little grassfed butter, local honey and cinnamon and yum!


If the heat is draining your energy, remember to hydrate! Try our Hydrogen water, or one of the all natural energy drinks we have in our cooler. If you are outside a lot this summer, be sure to keep your body supplied with electrolytes. We got a large choice and many flavors of the Redmond Re-Lyte drink mix to add to your water. Newest flavors added to our list include Orange, Grape & Grapefruit.
