I have a side of grassfed Scottish Highland beef available. The cost will run at just over $1,000 and will include all your favorite cuts of beef. At roughly 200 pounds of cut and wrapped beef, that's just $5 a pound for the best beef you've ever tasted.

Looks like meat is back on the menu. Two piggies have gone to market and come back home in nice little butcher paper wrapped packages. Our thick-sliced, country-style bacon is irresistible.

I cooked two turkeys that we raised on the farm. They were delicious! We have 10 more turkeys that are weighing in at around 20 pounds all dressed out. We also have some ducks, geese and chickens that we'd love to get ready for your oven.

It was good to see some of you who just "liked" this page at the Glenwood Farmer's Market today (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.). It was a good day of sales. The Jalepeño-Cheddar brats, tenderloins, and soup bones sold out. I even sold a beef tongue and 2 pounds of liver--yum? I also sold 4 pounds of goat meat to a guy who used to raised them.

I'll be sure to bring more of everything next time. I will be traveling to a convention in Vegas next week but will back with the beef on Saturday, Oct. 11.
