π§Ύ Ingredients
For the steak:
β’ 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 250β300 g each)
β’ Salt & black pepper, to taste
β’ 1 tbsp olive oil
β’ 2 tbsp butter
β’ 2 garlic cloves, smashed
β’ 1 sprig rosemary or thyme
For the shrimp:
β’ 200 g large shrimp, peeled & deveined
β’ 1 tbsp butter
β’ 2 garlic cloves, minced
β’ Β½ tsp smoked paprika or Cajun seasoning
β’ A squeeze of lemon juice
β’ Salt & pepper, to taste
For the garlic butter sauce:
β’ 3 tbsp butter (melted)
β’ 2 garlic cloves, minced
β’ 1 tbsp chopped parsley
β’ Β½ tbsp lemon juice
β’ Pinch of chili flakes (optional)

π©βπ³ Instructions
1. Prepare the steak:
β’ Bring steaks to room temperature and pat dry.
β’ Season generously with salt and pepper.
β’ Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
β’ Sear steaks 3β4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), adding butter, garlic, and rosemary during the last minute to baste.
β’ Remove and let rest 5 minutes.
2. Cook the shrimp:
β’ In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter.
β’ SautΓ© garlic for 30 seconds, then add shrimp.
β’ Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
β’ Cook 1β2 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden.
β’ Squeeze in lemon juice and toss to coat.
3. Make the garlic butter sauce:
β’ Melt butter in a small bowl, stir in garlic, parsley, lemon juice, and chili flakes.
4. Serve it up:
β’ Slice steak against the grain.
β’ Arrange shrimp on top or alongside.
β’ Drizzle everything generously with the warm garlic butter sauce.
β’ Garnish with extra parsley and a wedge of lemon π.
