On Thursday June 4, 2025, just 2 days before her 89th birthday, Donna Thompson passed away peacefully at home.

The beloved matriarch of the Thompson family for 7 decades, Donna’s legacy is felt in every corner of the family business. We are eternally grateful for the innumerable hours she spent pouring her heart and soul into the orchard, for the community and family alike.

We will miss her morning visits to the mill wood stove, her magic touch in the greenhouse, and seeing her in her favorite seat at the dinner table. Most of all, we will miss her hugs, her smile and infections laugh, and hearing her say “I love you”.

Whether you called her Donna, Mom, Gram, or Mimi, we would love to read a fond memory you shared with her in the comments.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held at New Gloucester Bible Church on Saturday, June 20th at noon.

Bakery items include Bismarcks, turnovers cream horns and cookies.

Good morning, yes can you believe it, it's opening day. Are we ready, not really but we're doing it anyways. If you get here early the 36 phaeton might still be inside.
The greenhouse is open with over 500 hanging plants to choose from and some smaller pots so you can create your own.
Hot coffee and donuts will be ready by 8:30 ish as well as cookies, Bismarcks, eclairs and some loaves of your favorite bread.

Good afternoon, chili and broccoli cheddar are soups for the day. This will be the last day for fresh made pizza but we do have a good selection of partially cooked frozen pizza, just take it home and finish it.
We have a good selection of handmade Christmas ornaments hanging on our tree for that look of rustic elegance.
Our time is getting short for this season, be sure to get cider for Christmas and some extra for your freezer.

Good morning folks, the photo ops are still up and ready to go, you can take pics yourself off one of our staff will take them for you.
Christmas trees, we still have 60 or so to choose from make a reasonable offer and grab the tree of your choice.
Get your pizza, donuts, cider, apples and bakery items while there's still time, we close Christmas eve and open again in the spring.
Looks like a beautiful day folks get out and enjoy.

Good morning folks, Santa will be here soon, 10-2 get your pics with Santa with the photo ops in the background. Santa has plenty of cookies out there and I'm sure he wants to share.
We still have plenty of trees to choose from, time is running short.
Fresh pizza from 11-4:30.
