We still have new unused stock from our little store that closed. These books would make great Christmas gifts for someone who didn’t buy one during our book signings. Ada’s Journal and Changing Sides are signed by the author on the date they were here. The Quaker Sergeant’s War is the Civil War diary of New Market’s Haworth brothers. Ada’s Journal is about the Peck’s of Jefferson City and Changing Sides was written by former Dandridge resident Pat Garrow. If interested, please comment below or message me. I’ll be listing these on marketplace. We’ve been busy since the store closed and haven’t tried to sell much of the new stock we had when we closed, but it’s time we start catching up.

What is Lost Creek Mercantile?

Lost Creek Mercantile will be an old-fashioned general store. Located just 1/2 block off of Hwy 11E in New Market, Tennessee, it will be a great place to stop in for a few groceries, old-fashioned candy and decor, vintage treasures, and a cold or hot sandwich or hot dog. We hope to open in the summer of 2018, but the store is a family project so progress sometimes moves a little slow. The mercantile will not sell any to***co or alcohol products and it will not sell lottery tickets. We hope you’ll enjoy going back in time to when a little country store or a general store was bustling with local residents in most every community. We plan to carry a large selection of local products and Tennessee-made products, and we will be able to make gift baskets for any occasion. Keep an eye on our page, and we’ll let you know when Lost Creek Mercantile will open for business.
