Cattle farming can be fun but it comes with work, vet expenses , good times & not so good too.
But overall it can be mental therapy over anything.

As a 5th generation farm owner we haven’t seen this happen but we do check our livestock daily.
During calving season the chance of a problem could arise even from a mature cow giving birth.

Times has certainly changed over the years here on The Farm. This method of harvesting hay was very similar to this except our hay would be picked up off the ground handed onto the trailer for stacking.
Hard work, but worth every effort.
