A few updates to the previous forecast: Band of higher snowfall amounts has shifted slightly north and east, and the probability for freezing rain for portions of NE PA and western Southern Tier has diminished, but the chances for sleet accumulation for those areas are increasing for Friday Night. Winter Storm Watches remain for the same counties for snow, and snow + sleet accumulation.

So again we would like to say, THANK YOU to the WORLD’S BEST CUSTOMERS. Yesterday in the Big Field on the Blueberry Bushes that did not get picked we noted the berries are overripe. While in the House Field every bush was picked multiple times and almost every berry was picked. Yesterday’s customers who did not notice that we were CLOSED, found a few berries. These berries are pea size to dime size. Picking was and is, VERY difficult. But the customers that came filled a pint or quart basket. Some of the confusion could be the way we communicate . So the UPick land line is 570-465-3515 and gives up to date, DAILY conditions. (That is the same number, my parents and grandparents used.) Altho we attempted to replace the landline 2 years ago with my Cell Phone number, (570-504-6128) we now use both. So using a dedicated cell phone allows Customers to speak with a person operating the UPick with realtime updates. So we have the landline and a Cell. Our Cell doubles as our Facebook & Instagram phone. So we thought posting updates on Facebook regularly thruout the year, would be informative. Hot and dry conditions will continue through mid week. A cold front will bring a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.

Good morning, quiet weather continues with high pressure remaining in place. A cold front moves in Wednesday that will bring our next chance at seeing rain in the area.

Thursday, August 7th our hours are from 7am to 1pm picking conditions are difficult. Friday and Saturday, hours and picking conditions are the same. Saturday will be the last day for the 2025 Season.

Good morning, this week is looking to remain dry with temperatures gradually warming each day as we head into the weekend. Here is a look at high temperatures at a few select cities across the region.

We are closed today, Wendesday, August 6th, but the last 3 days we will be OPEN for the 2025 Season are Thursday, August 7th, Friday August 8th and Saturday, August 9th. Picking conditions are difficult but we still have Honey, and Blueberry Plants. Also a variety of canned products. Yesterday a few customers showed up and some left with nothing, while 2lbs was normal. Again picking conditions will be difficult the last three days we are open Thursday thru Saturday. Hours are from 7am to 1pm, all 3 days.

Today is Monday, August 4th and we are CLOSED, just like every Monday. We had wonderful weather and a busy weekend, so we will need a few days to ripen the green berries. So with only midseason and late varieties left the picking is past prime. So we will be closed until Thursday, August 7th. Also for the rest of the 2025 Season picking will be difficult. So our next day open is Thursday, August 7th and our hours will from 7am to 1pm. We expect to have Prepicked Berries available, altho it possibly will be the last week for prepicked. Thanks to everyone who picked us out of berries this weekend. We heard from customers that The Montrose Blueberry Festival also sold out of almost everything by 2pm Saturday. Mother Nature smiled on all things Blueberry this last week! Also would like to thank Scarfallotos Hometown Market Deli for helping us and the Blueberry Festival in Montrose, PA.

Hello our hours Sunday, August 3rd are from 7am to 1pm, And from 1pm to 4pm, AND from 4pm to Sunset. Picking conditions are not peak as is typical 3 week into the season. We have canned products but are SOLD out of Prepicked berries.

Another pleasant day in store; highs expected in the low to mid 80s.

Another lovely day in NEPA, so…..enjoy…..ENJOY! And if you are picking berries today Mother Nature will smile on you. Our hours Saturday, August 2nd are 7am to Dusk. The price is $2.75lb in your containers. Prepicked berries are $7.00 a quart and $55.00 a 8 quart Flat so why pick? Instead of picking look thru our Jams, Jellies and No Sugar Fruit Spreads. How about our pickled products and salsas? Picking is still good and customers are filling their pails. Another precipitation-free day in store for the Central NY and NE PA areas. High temperatures in the mid to upper 70s can be expected.

We are open today Friday, August 1st from 7am to 1pm, it is so nice we are staying open from 1pm to 4pm for the afternoon. Also we open again in the evening from 4pm to Dusk. Being it is so nice we hope traffic will pickup this week and next week. Berries are still plentiful and the picking is good. High of 73 degrees with a 1% chance of precipitation. So it FEELS like 72 and our low is 51. A lovely day to pick berries so enjoy ENJOY the great outdoors of NEPA!

Beautiful weather is expected until at least mid-week next week. For today, temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 70s, with much cooler dewpoints, making it feel much more comfortable outside.

Thursday, July 31st we will be open from 7am to 1pm. We will have prepicked available in case the forecasted rain dampens your PYO plans.

Our hours Wednesday, July, 30th are from 7am to 1pm. We are CLOSED the rest of the day. Again, we are CLOSED during the afternoon from 1pm to 4pm with the heat index forecasting 90’s. We are CLOSED during the evening hours from 4to dusk with the heat index forecasting 90’s. So get picking this morning early, or better yet, pickup some prepicked berries.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, July 30th and we are open from 7am to 1pm. We will be CLOSED in the afternoon and evening. If you want to beat the heat come picking early OR we have prepicked berries available.
