At the market, I see this expression all the time.
A little bounce.
A soft stare.
A tail that can’t decide whether to wag or wiggle.

And every time, I’m reminded:
A treat is never just a treat.
It’s connection.
It’s communication.
It’s love in a tiny, delicious moment.

Always a great time when Mayor Cleveland is at the market! Catch him the first Saturday of every month! 😁

Meet and share your insights with Mayor Fred Cleveland when he hosts a table at the New Smyrna Beach Farmers Market in front of City Hall at 210 Sams Ave. on the first Saturday of every month from 7 a.m. to noon.

Accompanying him at each informal outing will be a different senior city staff member, and joining him tomorrow, January 3, will be the city's new Natural Resources Manager, Tony "Ralph" Miller.
